Day Ten.

This boy is going to be 3 next week! I cannot believe it!

Day Nine.

The eye Doctor told Ben that he needed to wear his glasses while he is reading. The very literal boy puts them on every time he picks up a book and will not attempt to read anything if he is not wearing them. His careful way of selecting a book and gently putting on his glasses just like the Optometrist demonstrated is so sweet. I wonder how long it will take before Jacob breaks them? Fortunately we bought the "little brother protection plan" warranty.

Day Eight.

Jacob is so sweet and gentle to babies. He has always has a very nurturing and gentle side for babies. He has only recently stopped the endearing habit of carrying his baby doll everywhere he goes. Ella has not lost her novelty in the least. As she becomes more and more of his adoring fan he just loves her more. If Ella needs ANYTHING he drops everything to get it. Jacob was thrilled on this particular occasion when I asked if he could feed her lunch. He took his job very seriously. Eating, in Jacob's world...is serious business. An event that happens about 17 times a day to fill his hollow legs. He was happy to include his sister in his favorite activity.

Day Seven.

This little blue eyed girl is growing up so fast! She loves to play with any toys that her brothers run for her (she has people for that sort of thing). She delights in everything. her happy disposition is so contagious. Her scrunched up grin will lighten even the darkest mood. She is such a sweet blessing to our lives. 

Day Six.

Glasses!
Ben is very proud of his new eye wear. Jacob is so jelous. I have caught him wearing them on a few occasions. "But I 'ant asses dooooo!" I think he is very handsome in them and he looks just like his Daddy!
