One Hundred and Thirteen

Ben and Jake have 10 000 ants that come around for food everyday. The boys are amazed at how quickly they will come for a small peice of banana. How do they know!? They have watched them pick it apart and carry it away every afternoon this week!

Day One Hundred and Twelve

I think it is interesting that Ella has access to mostly "boy toys" but she always plays with them in a distinctly feminine way. There is something nuturing and sweet about her manerisms and so it was no surprise when she took an interest in the baby dolls this last month. After a week or so of discovering them, they are all she wants to play with.  I loved dolls when I was a little girl.  I had 6 main babies and I played with them for hours. I am so happy that she likes them too!

Gramma and Grampa came over to show off their new ride! Ben loved it, Jake didn't and Ella is just happy to do anything the boys are doing!

Jacob sure missed his lawn mower over the winter. His favorite activity right now is mowing our little patch of front lawn over and and over again! Then it breaks down...and he gets his tools out to fix it!
