Day Thirty Eight.

Here is Ben's first comic strip. It is about his superhero alterego Ben.N. He did such a great job. He has only seen a few comic books at the library so I was surprised when he did this one so well. The woman calls for help, Ben.N. flies to her, rescues her and...my personal favorite ...."De End"

"Mommy is dis how you spell de end"?

Day Thirty Seven.

Poor little Ella. She REALLY dislikes her car seat. She just wants to move. Immobilizing her is probably the only thing that really makes her upset. She has an awfully cute "cry-face" though!

Day Thirty Six.

I love watching Jacob develop his nurturing side with his Baby. He has actually added a new baby, dubbed "Cute Baby" so now there are 2 to keep him busy!  I am smitten with his sweetness.

Day Thirty Five.

"Moooooooooommmm-yyyyyyyy!!"

I could hear a little voice yelling from the kitchen. I peeked outside where Jake was playing in the rain.

"I got stuck in the mud".

Poor little firefighter got stuck on the way to his engine.

(he really was stuck! you can't tell by the photo but he was really suctioned into that mud!)

Day Thirty Four

Ella doesn't waste any time in making new goals. As soon as she masters one skill she is on to another. She is very motivated and very determined. Qualities that will serve her well, and give her parents a fun second year I am sure. She just started crawling a few weeks ago and now she is very quick. she is into everything but this stair between the kitchen and living room is giving her trouble. She is determined to climb it! I give her a few more days before she is over it...and then I am not sure what I am going to do!

Day Thirty Three.

 Ben (or Ben.N. His super hero alias) is very convincing of his super powers. They come in especially handy when I need help with anything because "Ben.N" is quick to rescue in most circumstances.
Gramma made he and Jacob ("Jakey-Super") these capes and they wear them a lot.
Ben is concerned about his lack of flying though.
"Mommy do ALL the superhero's fly"?
"One way or another, I think they all do, yes/"
"Mmm. That is what I thought".

He spend some time then running up and down the hall leaping off the step. Again and again.

Finally he requested I take some photo's of his running leaps.
"Can you take my picture while I run and jump to see why I am not exactly flying"?

Oh Ben.N. You are a superhero to me, even if you can't "exactly fly".

Day Thirty Two.

Grandad and Daddy have taken the boys swimming the last two weeks. Ella joined this week and it would seem we have three little fish. They all loved it!
